Please, reference is made to the attached Technical Information(2008002/IMO) on the a.m. subject.
* Note :
Annex Ⅳ of MARPOL already entered into force on 27th September 2003. ISPP(International Sewage Pollution Prevention) Certificate therefore shall be retained on vessel subject to the Annex Ⅳ within the designated period.
As the grace time of 5 years for existing ship on this Convention is almost approaching to the limited date which is on 26th September 2008, ship owners and technical managers subject to this matter are advised to ensure that ISPP Certificate under Annex Ⅳ of MARPOL shall be retained on board.
